It is always our goal to meet or exceed the expectations of our client and the requirements of the design. To do this, qualified and experienced personnel are tasked with a systematic program that ensures quality assurances are met. QA/QC starts during preconstruction. Our goal as Construction Managers is to help create a set of bid documents with the design team that make for efficient, economical construction and efficient, economical operations upon completion. Ultimately, we will leave our clients with a product that works well for them long after we are gone from the job site. Once design is complete and bids are submitted, our staff schedules scope review meetings with subcontractors and suppliers. Owner and design team participation in pre-award meetings is encouraged. During scope review, quality control is ensured with a line-by-line detailed analysis of the proposals. The entire scope, and the correct scope, must be included before we can move on. Once subcontracts are awarded, quality assurance continues as construction begins. We are very hands-on in the field activities to ensure all entities comply with plans and specs. Open communication with owner, design team and any 3rd party QAA is an important component in delivering a quality product. Constant supervision and daily job site visits by our management team are company policy. In the event of an owner generated change or design change due to unforeseen circumstances, it is critical that the revised design documents are disseminated to those who need them. We do this quickly to save money for the owner. There is nothing more frustrating than trades working from outdated plans. We take this very seriously and ensure that everyone who is affected by changes to design is brought up to speed as quickly as possible.
